This wine made the Wine Spectator top 100. We never had a Cabernet Franc that was liked because of the intense earthy and pepper taste that often comes from a franc.
In Washington a Cab Franc is very much like a Argentinian Merlot with flavors and aroma of earth, cigar, black fruit, and a very full power taste.
The Bookwalter Suspense is very much a pure Cab Franc represented in Washington State, with the big bold Argentinian like Malbec bold tastes. Highly recommended
